Mangapikopiko is a welcoming, inclusive, and nurturing school underpinned by the values of Manaaki (Kindness), Pono (Integrity), and Whanaungatanga (Belonging), guided by our strategic aims of educationally powerful partnerships, inclusivity, cultural sustainability, and collective efficacy. Students and staff belong to one of three houses - Wai (Blue/Water), Ahi (Red/Fire), or Taiao (Green/Land) - fostering a sense of community. We cherish partnerships with whānau, welcoming them into classrooms and playgrounds to visit, learn, and play alongside their tamariki. Through services like nurses, whānau workers, and Kootuitui training, along with Seesaw and Hero learning journals to share achievements, we aim to have families feel well supported and involved. It is a privilege for us to work with you as your child begins their educational journey.
