Houses and Student Leaders 2025
Mangapikopiko School has three houses, each comprising vertical groupings of staff and students across all year levels, with siblings and families usually placed in the same house. Our houses' names are inspired by our cultural ties with water, land, and fire.
House groups in our school are one of the fun and positive ways to build stronger relationships among students, staff, and families. We aim to enable students and staff to make investments in each other and share powerful moments. House groups are also a vehicle we use to create a sense of identity, belonging, and action of school values, provide leadership and student voice opportunities, and encourage older students to mentor and take care of the younger ones.
